From Port to Packaged — We’ve Got You Covered
CrateGrid offers streamlined logistics from port pickup to the pick and pack stage. We handle inbound freight from the port, receive and store your inventory, and fulfill your orders with precision and care. While we don’t offer last-mile delivery at this time, we prepare your shipments for handoff and drop them off at your preferred carrier’s depot — whether that’s Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, or another provider. You stay in control of final delivery, while we handle everything up to that point.

Store your inventory with confidence starting at just $35/pallet, with a $20 flat unload fee/pallet. Whether you're holding overflow stock, prepping for fulfillment, or need short-term space between drops, our flexible storage solution is built to scale with your business — no long-term commitments, no hidden fees.

Returns & Replenishment

We understand that returns and restocks are part of running a growing eCommerce brand. CrateGrid offers streamlined return handling and inventory replenishment services to keep your operations moving smoothly.

📦 Return Handling

If a customer sends an item back to our warehouse:

  • Return Inspection & Logging:
    Each item is received, visually inspected, and logged into your inventory record.

  • Handling Fee:
    $1.50 per returned item (includes inspection, labeling, and restocking into active inventory).

  • Unusable/Damaged Returns:

    • You’ll receive a photo report and option to either store (charged at $35/pallet/month) or dispose ($15 flat fee per disposal order).

  • Where to Send Returns:

    Include your company name and return SKU info on the label if possible.

Replenishment & Inventory Restocks

Want to send in more inventory or resupply fast-moving SKUs?

  • Booking Required:
    Email orders@crategrid.ca 24 hours in advance with:

    • Your business name

    • Shipment date

    • SKU list and quantities

    • Number of pallets/cases

  • Restocking Fee:
    No additional fee for replenishment on palletized SKUs (standard $20 unload fee applies).

  • Important:
    All SKUs must arrive clearly labeled and match your inventory profile to avoid delays or handling fees.

Cancellations / Inventory Pull-Outs

If you ever need to remove inventory from our warehouse:

  • Full Pallet Pull: $15/pallet

  • Outbound Carrier Pickup: Arrange pickup window with our team via email

  • Short-Term Storage Clients: No minimum terms, but we require 48 hours’ notice to release full inventory for pickup.

Add-Ons:

  • Branded packaging: +$1.00

  • Bubble wrap / fragile care: +$0.75

  • Inserts (gift notes, promos): +$0.50

Label Handling

  • Standard label printing is included in all pick & pack rates.

  • Clients may also upload their own labels.

Fulfillment Turnaround:

  • Orders submitted before 11am PST: Same-day shipping

  • Orders submitted after 11am PST: Next-day fulfillment

Receiving/In/Out Guidelines

  • To ensure smooth receiving and accurate storage, please follow the instructions below:

    • Advance Notice Required:
      Email all inbound shipment details at least 24 hours in advance to orders@crategrid.ca with:

      • Business name

      • Shipment date + carrier name

      • Number of pallets

      • Packing list (SKU counts per pallet)

    • Accepted Receiving Hours:
      Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Langley, BC location)
      Deliveries outside this window may be refused or delayed.

    • Pallet Standards:

      • Must be standard 40" x 48" (48" max height unless pre-approved)

      • Each pallet must be securely wrapped

      • Every SKU must be labeled clearly with a product name and/or barcode

    • Non-Compliant Shipments:
      CrateGrid reserves the right to charge a $25 handling fee per pallet for:

      • Unlabeled SKUs

      • Mixed SKUs without a packing list

      • Damaged or improperly wrapped pallets

    • Inventory Retrieval Requests:
      Send all outbound requests to orders@crategrid.ca with:

      • Your business name

      • SKUs and quantities needed

      • Required delivery method (pickup or CrateGrid local delivery)

      • Delivery address and preferred date

    • Notice Requirement:
      Please allow 24 hours for full-pallet pulls and same-day fulfillment for item-level orders placed before 11:00 AM PST.

  • Include delivery address and preferred date/time in your email to orders@crategrid.ca. We’ll confirm dispatch time and cost.
